Description
The Atlas of Queer Anatomy is an interdisciplinary art–science project that reimagines human anatomy through queer, interspecies, and posthuman perspectives. Departing from the dominant legacy of classical anatomical textbooks, it challenges the patriarchal, heteronormative, and Western-centric frameworks that continue to define body visualization categorization and medicine. The Atlas of Queer Anatomy workshop proposes an alternative anatomical language, one that embraces fluidity, multiplicity, and relationality, and aims to foster more inclusive healthcare imaginaries and to address structural inequalities embedded in biomedical systems.
