Yanzi Peng(aka Yanhui Peng) is the co-founder of China Rainbow Collective Foundation, a research fellow at Leiden Chinese Queer Collection at Leiden University. Yanzi has 19 years experience working at civil society organizations in China. Founded LGBT Rights Advocacy China in 2013 to advance LGBT+ equality through China’s legal system. The organization built professional networks of lawyers and journalists, and supported impact litigations against conversion therapy, employment discrimination, media censorship and marriage discrimination. Now Yanzi is working as the Director of Programs at the Stichting Chinese Initiative on International Law in the Netherlands to continue supporting the Chinese LGBTQ community both inside and outside China.
