Godfred Kuttin is a human rights advocate, movement builder, and social impact strategist working at the intersection of LGBTQIA+ rights, youth inclusion, and digital justice across Africa. As Co-Executive Director of the Youth Initiative Foundation (YIF), Godfred leads internal operations, organizational strategy, and digital innovation. YIF’s work centers on building safe, affirming, and empowering spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth and other marginalised communities, through digital community platforms, peer support programme, emergency welfare services, and knowledge preservation. Godfred’s approach combines operational leadership, learning design, community-centred programme implementation, and strategic development to drive systemic, rights-based change. He works within global frameworks, including the Sustainable Development Goals, and champions the rights, wellbeing, and leadership of queer and marginalised youth across the continent. He is actively engaged in advancing global governance, transparency, and civic participation and has contributed published thought pieces fueling continental conversations on democracy, LGBTQIA+ rights, and social progress. Driven by a belief in collective action and digital empowerment, Godfred connects people, technology, and storytelling to challenge discrimination and build pathways for meaningful youth leadership in Africa.
