Eric Ndawula is a Ugandan human rights defender, data storyteller, and Executive Director of Lifeline Youth Empowerment Center, a community-led organization providing needs-based, data-informed protection and response services for young queer people. His work focuses on documenting rights violations, coordinating crisis response, and translating lived experiences into advocacy and policy engagement. He has contributed to regional and international dialogues on safety, dignity, and ethical data use, and co-created KuchuCare, a digital access-to-care solution. Having lived through successive Anti-Homosexuality laws and their enforcement, he brings both analytical insight and direct community experience to this conversation.
