About the spreaker
Godwin Harrison is a Nigerian Queer  filmmaker, Cultural activist,  creative producer, and paralegal whose work sits at the intersection of storytelling, justice, and identity. He is the Founder of HUG Media Concept, where he develops socially engaged film projects and stage play  rooted in the Nigerian LGBTQIA+ Lived experiences. His creative practice explores themes of queer identity, royalty, and culture, often set within traditional Nigerian systems to examine love, power, and belonging.    Alongside his creative work, he brings a paralegal background that informs his interest in structure, rights, and representation. Through speaking and storytelling, he advocates for more inclusive narratives and expanded visibility for queer voices in African cinema.
