About the spreaker
Enkhmaa Enkhbold is a Mongolian LGBTQI+ activist and community organizer working to advance equality, visibility, and human rights in Mongolia. She has been actively involved in Mongolia’s LGBTQI+ movement for several years through the LGBT Centre Mongolia, the country’s leading LGBTQI+ human rights organization. For the past six years, Enkhmaa has served as the lead organizer of Mongolia’s Pride events, helping coordinate and grow Pride initiatives that have been organized annually for more than 14 years by the LGBT Centre. Her work focuses on community mobilization, public engagement, and creating safe and visible spaces for LGBTQI+ people in Mongolia. Through her advocacy and organizing, she has contributed to strengthening Mongolia’s LGBTQI+ movement and increasing public awareness about equality and human rights. Enkhmaa is passionate about building solidarity between local and global movements and sharing the experiences of LGBTQI+ communities from underrepresented regions.
