Christiana Gennata is a psychologist, psychotherapist and a graduate of the postgraduate program “Victimization and Criminal Justice” at Tilburg University, as well as the Orlando LGBT+ training program on the basic principles of psychotherapy and counseling with LGBTQI+ people. For the last fourteen years, she has been actively involved in activism for the rights of LGBTQI+ people. Her research focuses on the provision of psychosocial support and empowerment for LGBTQI+ people & on trans people’s access to health care as well as on queer relationships.At the moment, she is a Co-Director at the Psychological Support Line 11528 "By your side" for LGBTQI+ individuals, their families and educators & she maintains her private office in Athens, where she provides psychotherapeutic support to individuals, as well as to queer couples, relationships and families.
