About the spreaker
Dr. Kevin Maas is a General Practitioner from Belgium and a local councillor in the municipality of Maasmechelen, where he serves as parliamentary leader for the Christian Democratic party CD&V. He has been active in youth and international centre-right politics for many years, including as Secretary General of YEPP, the Youth of the European People’s Party, and National Chairman of JONGCD&V, the youth organization of CD&V. Today, he is Vice President of EPPride, the LGBTQ+ association of the European People’s Party. At World Pride Amsterdam, he will present the EPPride Local Political Handbook, a collection of practical local policy initiatives and good practices that help build more inclusive, safe and welcoming communities across Europe.
