Yasmin Benoit is a British model, multi-award-winning asexual activist, writer, speaker, and researcher. Described as the "unlikely face of asexuality" by Cosmopolitan Magazine, she started the #ThisIsWhatAsexualLooksLike movement for diverse asexual visibility, co-founded International Asexuality Day and launched the UK’s first asexual rights initiative in partnership with Stonewall. She was the first asexual grand marshal at NYC Pride 2023, the first asexual person to lead Pride in London in 2024, and the first asexual activist to win a British LGBT Award for her ‘Outstanding Contribution to Communities.’ Alongside her work in the media, she has campaigned for asexual inclusion in legislation, and has partnered with international organisations like Outright, the Human Rights Campaign and IGLYO. In 2025, she started a visiting position with King’s College London’s Policy Institute, where she is involved in asexuality-related research.
