About the spreaker
Barbara Oud (she/her) is a bi+ activist from the Netherlands, dedicated to advancing equality, intersectional inclusion, and visibility for bi+ people. She is Executive Director and co-founder of Bi+ Nederland, the Dutch bi+ equality organisation, and co-founder of Bi+ Equal, the pan-European Bi+ Umbrella Organisation. She works to challenge heteronormativity, the monosexual norm, biphobia, and the erasure of bi+ identities in both queer and mainstream spaces. With a background in gender studies and interdisciplinary social sciences, as well as lived experience as a bi+ poly person, Barbara advocates for the recognition of relationship diversity as a vital but often overlooked part of LGBTQIA+ rights.
