About the spreaker
Henk Nijmeijer is Rainbow Ambassador for the Province of Drenthe in the Netherlands, working at the intersection of inclusion, social safety and community development. He is the initiator of The Safe Dressing Room, an innovative programme that supports sports clubs in creating safe and inclusive environments. The approach has grown into a province-wide movement and is now part of a European development trajectory. Henk is also the author of Kleuren van gelijkheid, in which he reflects on diversity, inclusion and the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe to be themselves. With a background in public leadership and a strong focus on grassroots change, he connects policy with everyday practice.
