About the spreaker
Proud to be a professional queer, Yaël is a social worker with queer at-risk youth and a freelance multidisciplinary researcher, anti-racist educator, and community organiser based in Malmö, Sweden. They are passionate about bridging communities and creating spaces of cultural exchange where people, languages, and experiences can meet.They work at the intersection of care, culture, and collective imagination. They are the co-founder of DubbelExponerat, an anti-racist project centering racialized queer experiences within the Nordic context; the founder of In Between The Lines, a grassroots poetry project centering queer, migrant, and multilingual writers; and the cultural producer at Page 28 Bokhandel & Kulturscen. Through their work, they cultivate spaces where stories become bridges, poetry becomes a gathering place, and community becomes a practice of belonging.
