JSMEFER (www.jsmefer.cz) advocates for equal marriage in the Czech Republic. Lucia is thechairwoman of the Committee for Sexual Minorities of the Government Council for HumanRights. She is also a member of the Government Council for Gender Equality, havingpreviously worked as the secretary of this Council. In the past, she worked for the Office ofthe Government of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in theDepartment of Gender Equality, and participated in the preparation of the GovernmentStrategy for Gender Equality in the Czech Republic for 2014–2020. She graduated from theFaculty of Law of Charles University.
