Marvellous Tawomhera is a trade unionist and labour activist from Zimbabwe, serving as National Young Workers Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Catering and Hotel Workers Union and holding leadership roles at national level within the broader labour movement. Deeply committed to workers’ rights and inclusion, she has worked to strengthen workplace environments where LGBTQIA+ workers can feel safer, represented, and respected. As Chairperson of a Workers Committee in her workplace, Marvellous has played an important role in reducing hostility and discrimination, helping to create spaces where workers can coexist without exclusion or segregation. Grounded in the belief that LGBTQIA+ people are workers too, she brings a perspective shaped by both workplace organising and advocacy for greater inclusion within trade unions.
