About the spreaker
Kim Vance-Mubanga (she/her/elle) is the Director of Programs and Partnerships at Egale Canada, and oversees all international programming and engagement - including the G7/G20, UN, Organization of American States, the Commonwealth, etc. She also serves on the Steering Committee for the Women, Peace and Security Network in Canada, and the 2SLGBTQI+ National Monument Advisory Committee. Before joining Egale, she directed ARC International (Canada/Geneva) for 17 years and has played a key role in the application of international human rights law in relation to sexual orientation, gender identity/gender expression and sex characteristics.
