About the spreaker
A movement architect and strategist for LGBTI+ rights and inclusive development, Justus Eisfeld is an independent consultant with clients as diverse as the UN Development Programme and Intersex Asia. He co-founded and served as co-director of Koppa, the LGBTI+ Economic Power Lab, and Global Action for Trans Equality (GATE) where he kicked off the International Trans Fund. While at Hivos, he developed a €37 million funding program for LGBTI+ human rights and economic development. He has played a key role in initiating and developing national international trans rights organizations such as Transgender Europe and Transgender Netwerk (Netherlands). With masters degrees in political science/gender studies and business administration he now focuses on the economic development of LGBTI+ communities and building the necessary financial and organizational infrastructure for this shift in focus.
