About the spreaker
Rev. Elder Ines-Paul Baumann (he&she / no pronoun), Pastor* Metropolitan Community Church  in Köln/GermanyMy perspectives are shaped by my experiences as a person who is white, non-binary trans* masculine, largely neurotypical, able-bodied, educated and bisexual. I live in a committed, non-monogamous relationship and am one of three parents to two children. I never knew what I wanted to become. I’ve completed three academic degree programmes: Engineering, Theologies, and Gender & Diversity. Since 2012, I am the pastor* of MCC (‘Metropolitan Community Church’) in Cologne. For 6 years I also served on the MCC Council of Elders - MCC's global spiritual and pastoral leadership body responsible for ecclesiastical matters. Since 2020, my paid work is a part-time employment for rainbow families and on gender diversity (educational work and counselling). Before that, I used to earn a living as a software developer. In my past, I was also active in squatting houses, in the independent Drag-King-collective ‘Kingdom of Cologne’, and in the queercore band ‘Low-End Models’.
