About the spreaker
Dinah Bons (she/her) is a healthcare and hiv activist, and former politician. As a Moluccan trans woman with a background in sex work and over thirty years of activism—from ACT UP New York to the Amsterdam City Council —she embodies leadership that brings the queer struggle back to its political roots. She is the former chair of TGEU, the European organization for trans advocacy, and currently works as Advocacy and Social-Legal Affairs Officer at the HIV Association. Bons consistently speaks out against reducing Pride to marketing and advocates for intersectional, decolonized solidarity.
