Description
Youth education can be a cornerstone for acceptance of diversity, but often receives backlash.
By using examples from nature and the animal kingdom, the workshop explores why this educational approach is easily adaptable across cultures and countries: the stories are rooted in science, universally recognizable, and invite curiosity rather than debate.
The Natural Hero Foundation collaborates with partners such as the Dutch Royal Zoo 'ARTIS', publishers, and museums. Through this approach, the foundation has reached over 40% of Dutch primary schools and 80% of secondary schools through books, educational games, lesson materials, events, and animation.
