About the spreaker
I graduated as an econometrician and initially worked as a consultant before becoming a data analyst at Vinted. There, I discovered that my curiosity was more about people than numbers—and that I wanted to write about them. I became a journalist and have been freelancing since 2023 for publications such as de Volkskrant, De Groene Amsterdammer and Het Algemeen Dagblad. For the past year, I have been living in Hanoi, Vietnam, where my husband works for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During that time, I worked on my first book, Through the Rainbow Ceiling, and I now regularly speak about its themes as a public speaker.
