Central themes 
Four major themes have been selected for the conference, which will be central to the participants' contributions: Rights & Governance, Health & Well-being, Heritage & Culture and Resources & Leadership. These themes can be approached from any perspective: Gender, Sex and Sexuality, Trans, Non-Binary, and Non-Conforming Identities, Sexual Orientation and Fluidity, Intersex Awareness and Body Diversity, and the perspective of Migration & Displacement. Make the most of each session
Each session will generally have 75 minutes available. The format is flexible. The aim is to make every session as diverse, inspiring, and interactive as possible. So we asked people to collaborate, present, inspire, demonstrate, organize a panel, divide the session into segments, in short: sessions must create impact with an unforgettable experience for participants.

Rights & Governance

  • Policy Innovation and Global Progress: Promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusive laws and policies, and highlighting advancements in countries like Botswana, Taiwan, Slovenia and Colombia as role models.
  • Legal Recognition: Addressing legal rights of trans and intersex communities, fighting LGBTQIA+ prosecution and working towards legal equality, including marriage equality.
  • Hostilities and Digital Safety: Exploring ways in which embassies, NGOs, and governments can safeguard LGBTQIA+ communities from physical and online threats, incl digital extortion, attacks, and political backlash.
  • Equity in Action: Ensuring marginalized communities gain better access to justice, legal protections, and resources to challenge discrimination and systemic inequalities.
     

Health & Well-being

  • Inclusive Healthcare: Changing the narrative of invasive questioning and examinations for LGBTQIA+ patients. Addressing LGBTQIA+ health needs
  • Bodily Autonomy and Consent in Healthcare: Addressing the rights of trans and intersex communities to make informed decisions about their bodies and medical care, and eliminating forced or coerced medical care.
  • Sexual Health Access and Destigmatization: Innovative, accessible, stigma-free sexual health services, including highlighting success stories that have reshaped sexual health policies
  • Mental Health Access and Suicide Prevention: Addressing the unique challenges, including the impact of minority stress and anti-LGBTQIA+ backlash. Effective approaches healing from coping mechanisms to 'belong' in a cis-heteronormative society.


Heritage & Culture

  • Historic Milestones and Role Models: Inspiring through pivotal LGBTQIA+ events and movements, achievements of global south and global east nations as beacons of progress and inspiration.
  • Preserving and Advancing Intersectional Legacies: Discussing how to preserve LGBTQIA+ history and culture, while advancing the rights and recognition of communities, especially in the Global South & East.
  • Intergenerational Dialogue: Bridging gaps between older and younger  LGBTQIA+ generations, to strengthen collective resilience and unity across ages, and prevent loneliness when individuals grow older.
  • Cultural Narratives: promoting queer art, media, and literature as powerful tools to preserve history, amplify diverse voices, and inspire future cultural progress.
     

Resources & Leadership

  • Economic Justice and Empowerment: Tackling LGBTQIA+ poverty and systemic barriers by fostering equitable access to resources, opportunities, and pathways for LGBTQIA+ financial independence.
  • Building the Future: Creating access to education and employment opportunities, dismantle workplace discrimination, and exploring the foundations of structural funding for community-led initiatives.
  • Financial Solidarity and Allyship: Building coalitions across communities, to gain access to funds and resources, while protecting individual and transcultural differences to avoid sponsor-sponsee-inequality
  • Cultivating Leaders and Entrepreneurship: representation of LGBTQIA+ people in politics, justice, business, and other leadership roles. and ways of supporting LGBTQIA+ innovators and creators in the workplace.

Program development
The conference program is being developed with input from activists and Pride organizers around the world and is overseen by our advisory board and international sounding board. The advisory board made an initial selection of over 300+ proposals and, where necessary, connect parties to ensure impactful sessions.
